Without wasting any more time, let’s get talking. Have you tried this stick foundation by Hourglass because it’s not a new release and has been around for a while now which means most people have probably had their experience with it? I still wanted to share my review because as you know I love sharing products on here that sit well with me and even though I’m not a complete makeup junkie at least not yet I like makeup and I use it now more than ever.
Before I go on about the foundation, I should probably give credit to Sephora Play the beauty box subscription by Sephora because I originally received a sample of the Vanish Seamless Finish Stick Foundation in one of my boxes and from there I was hooked after I really tested it out on my skin because the first time around I can never quite tell if it will work for me.
HourGlass Vanish Seamless Finish Stick Foundation
“A revolutionary foundation stick with the coverage of a concealer, the fluidity of a liquid, and the weightlessness of a powder in a long-wearing waterproof formula for undetectable full coverage. The unprecedented concentration of pigment in this foundation provides maximum coverage with a minimum product, concealing all discoloration and imperfections for flawless skin with a seamless finish.”
- It’s not just a stick foundation, I was afraid of stick foundations but this one changed just that, it is super easy to use, melts right in.
- It’s a stick but acts like a liquid just as described
- You really need a small amount but you can build it up as you go along if that’s what you like.
- Leaves you with a natural and very fresh finish
- Stays in place and long-lasting, many shades to choose from
I’m using the shade shell
I started out with my skin well prepped, instead of primer I used a few drops of my Radha Jojoba Beauty Oil and slightly tapped on a small amount of the foundation directly onto my face, using my Bestope flat foundation brush blended the foundation using my flat foundation brush
Does it provide a seamless finish?
Yes, it does and I have used it with both a sponge and brush
Does it live up to its claims?
I say yes it definitely does and nonetheless it’s my favorite foundation despite its price because I don’t always spend much on my foundation but after I ran out of my mini-stick, I missed it so much that I had to purchase a full-size and that’s how you know it’s a good foundation.
There you have it, my thoughts on the HourGlass Vanish Seamless Finish Stick Foundation finally out there, let me know what you think, thank you.
P.S. I am also working on creating a video version of this review
