Best DIY Lip Scrub!

Hello! I’m b-a-c-k 🙂 and the first most important thing about today’s blog is the very last post, yes! and in case you’re not up to date It’s this one check it out if you haven’t  this was a first direct makeup blog and I have to say I can not believe ‘how’ successful it was 🙂 it started gaining ‘likes’ as soon as it went up so THANK YOU my lovelies for liking it so much and always showing your love, love you all xoxo Let’s see if you guys ‘like’ this one just as much, it’s short and sweet lol, to be honest, this one is an AMAZING one; it’s all about creating a quick yet effective lip scrub, which will save you tons of money, in the long run, be real, those lip scrubs are expensive* right? so if it sounds good so far then why not keep reading 🙂

It will help you exfoliate your lips, just as you exfoliate your face to reveal fresh skin, you also need to exfoliate your lips to reveal healthy pink looking lips. This scrub will do just that, using all natural ingredients (only good could come of this) I use this scrub all the time and it gives me great results in a very short time every time. This will not only clean your lips but also enhance your lips naturally to make them look fuller, a two in one? Yes, but for fuller looking lips there are more steps you can take afterward anyways if you would like a separate detailed blog on how to make your lips look bigger please let me know or simply look out for one coming soon anyways 🙂

  • Brown sugar brownsugarscrub-441x658
  • Almond Oil/Coconut oil
  • Spoon
  • Container or a bowl

Take a small size jar/container or bowl whatever you prefer; if you would like a fresh scrub every time simply use a little bowl but if you want to store it for a few uses then get those tiny jars made for DIY lipsticks/chapsticks.

Take one spoon of brown sugar and add about a half tablespoon of almond oil/coconut oil (or as much oil needed to provide the right amount of consistency (it should remain like a scrub)

Take the spoon and mix everything together (you’re done!)

You can add a flavoring color if you want to

Take the scrub to a sink (bathroom, kitchen wherever) cause you do not want sugary crumbs anywhere else

Use your fingers to apply the scrub to your lips and massage in circular motions

Leave it for 30 or 40 seconds then take a toothbrush and exfoliate your lips by gently applying some pressure (literally) brush your lips again in circular motions. This will take away any dead skin that’s on the surface giving you not only rosy lips but also plump looking lips because it will get the blood flowing.

Wipe off everything with a paper towel and wash off any excess. As always don’t forget to moisturize afterward. So use a good moisturizing lip balm right after, I prefer you use some vaseline or even better some almond oil or coconut oil will nourish your lips like nothing else and you my friend are done, hope you’ll love the results 🙂

*Quick Tip: The quickest way to make your lips nice and smooth for a lipstick application or in general, is to take some vaseline and apply it to your lips, leave it on for few mins, then simply rub off your lips using your fingers or paper towel. you’re welcome 🙂

So what did you think of this scrub, have you tried it, will you try it? Which ones are your favorite, DIY or store purchases? Fill me in 🙂 I know there are many ways to make a lip scrub using many ingredients but this is what I use the most 🙂 it’s pretty simple!

Until Next Time,
