To make your day or night depending on where you are even better I just thought of this wonderful post; DIY: Make Your Own Rosewater Facial Toner At Home which your skin will definitely thank you for but so will your wallet 🙂 so who’s excited? I hope I’m not the only one hehe you guys know how much I love my rosewater… ever since the first use it has made a permanent place in my skincare. Why not make some at home, it’s really simple to do if you would like to know how to make your own rosewater facial toner then please keep on reading this won’t take long… I promise 🙂
YOU’LL NEED …
- Fresh roses
- Distilled water
- A saucepan
- A strainer
- A glass jar
- A spray bottle
WHAT TO DO …
Get some fresh/organic roses (like a bunch) and pick the petals separating them from the stems and make sure to wash them to get rid of any dirt or residues.
Put the petals in the saucepan, add enough distilled water to cover the rose petals (no more than this or you’ll end up diluting the rosewater) place the lid on the pan and let it simmer for 20 mins (or until the petals lose their color)
Separate water from the petals by using a strainer, pour the mixture into a glass jar, and discard the petals.
Now to create the toner for your face take a tablespoon of the mixture (🌹 rosewater you just created) and about 2 oz. of water and transfer it to a spray bottle for convenient use and storage.
Keep the toner in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
And there you have it your very own all natural and fresh ROSEWATER FACIAL TONER 💖
Benefits … Perfect for all skin types
